f you are planning to add a touch of color to your garden, there are several plants that you can consider planting.

Of course, planting primroses is the best option that will surely make your garden vibrant. Primroses are basically comprised of two distinct kinds of flowers that appear identical in a superficial way.

The first kind is known as the pin-eyed (female) while the other is thrum-eyed (male). The two kinds of flowers are produced on separate plants.

Take note that primroses are well-known for their creamy-like yellow coloring, but they are now available in different colors so that you can choose the ideal color for your lawn or garden. You can even see different varieties of primroses growing naturally in the deep woodlands or on banks exposed to the sun.

Introduction to Primroses

The primrose flowers typically bloom during the early spring and vary in terms of size, form and color. These flowers are ideal for borders, garden beds and even in containers or for naturalizing certain parts of the lawn or lawn. In reality, once these flowers are provided with suitable growing conditions, they can multiply almost on a yearly basis and effectively adding color to your lawn or garden.

The primroses bloom all throughout the summer season in some areas and they will continue all the way until the fall season. Majority of the primrose flowers are polyanthus hybrids that typically vary in color from cream, white, orange, yellow, pink and even red.

Bee Friendly Plants

The primroses must be planted in areas thave good drainage drains well and combined with organic matter. Tilt the primrose  when planting them with a depth of 4-6 inches. This will make sure rain water will run off. Wild primrose are always on the side of a ditch so when planting your aim is to plant in a similar way.
